Reading this site, or contacting us through it, does not create a doctor-patient relationship with Roscoe Nelson, MD, or with any affiliated practice. That relationship begins only when you are formally accepted as a patient.

Medication and treatment information
Any discussion of medications, procedures or supplements is educational. Do not start, stop or change any treatment based on something you read here. Dosing decisions belong with your own clinician.
Opinion and perspective
Some of what you will read here is my professional opinion, formed from my training, my reading of the medical literature, and more than three decades of clinical experience. Where the evidence is settled I say so, and where I am giving you my judgment I try to make that plain too. Reasonable physicians can disagree, and your own clinician knows your history in a way no website can.
Accuracy and currency
Medicine changes. Articles carry a publication or update date, and older pieces may not reflect current guidance even where they remain useful. Where an article predates a meaningful change in practice, we say so on the page.
Third-party content and links
Some material is contributed by other authors and is credited on the page. Links to outside sites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement or responsibility for their content.
Privacy and analytics
We collect information you provide when requesting resources or contacting us, such as contact details, preferences, and the contents of your request. We use it to fulfill requests, respond to inquiries, and manage requested follow-up.
Website use and outreach. We collect information about website use and how visitors find us, such as pages visited, referring sites, campaign identifiers, and technical information used to operate and protect the site. Browser storage helps associate arrival details with a guide request or a contact message. We use this information and analytics to improve our content and understand the effectiveness of our outreach.
Resource requests. Related websites, including Peri Health & Hormones, use shared systems to manage requests. Requesting the menopause guide or writing to us does not by itself enroll you in the Peri waitlist. Quiz answers and scores remain in your browser and are not included in the guide request.
Service providers. We use service providers for hosting, data storage, communications, analytics, and other website operations. They process information for those purposes. We do not sell personal information or send form submissions or associated arrival details to advertising platforms.
Health information. This site is not a patient portal. Please do not submit medical records or treatment details through website forms or include them in page URLs. Clinical care and related privacy notices are handled separately.
Privacy requests. To ask about your information, update communication preferences, or request deletion, email drnelson@peedoc.com. We may need to verify your identity, and requests are subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. Please do not include medical records or treatment details in your email.
