Medication and treatment information
Any discussion of medications, procedures or supplements is educational. Do not start, stop or change any treatment based on something you read here. Dosing decisions belong with your own clinician.
Opinion and perspective
Some of what you will read here is my professional opinion, formed from my training, my reading of the medical literature, and more than three decades of clinical experience. Where the evidence is settled I say so, and where I am giving you my judgment I try to make that plain too. Reasonable physicians can disagree, and your own clinician knows your history in a way no website can.
Accuracy and currency
Medicine changes. Articles carry a publication or update date, and older pieces may not reflect current guidance even where they remain useful. Where an article predates a meaningful change in practice, we say so on the page.
Third-party content and links
Some material is contributed by other authors and is credited on the page. Links to outside sites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement or responsibility for their content.
Privacy and analytics
This site uses privacy-focused analytics so we can see which pages people find useful. It records aggregate information such as page views, referring sites, and general country or region. It does not use advertising cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you.
The contact form. What you submit is sent to us by email and used only to reply to you. Please do not put medical information in it. Email is not a secure or private channel, the form is not part of a medical record, and anything clinical should be discussed in a setting built for it. Submissions pass through a third-party form service in order to reach us.
What we do not do. We do not sell or share your information, and we do not use it for advertising. Reading this site or writing to us does not make you a patient, and this site is not a patient portal.
Clinical care, and the records that go with it, happen at Peri Health & Hormones under that practice’s own privacy practices, which are separate from this site.
